The 2009 Australian Working Retriever Central Retrieving Trial Dog of the Year (for the third year running) is:

Jack Lynch's Gr Nat RT Ch COALSGARTH TASSIE FERN (Lab B)

In 2009 “Fern” successfully defended the AWRC Retrieving Trial Dog of the Year award by accumulating 152 points by finishing in 2nd place in the Tasmanian Championship and 3rd place in the Queensland, South Australian and Victorian Championship along with eight 1st places, four 2nd places and one 3rd place in All Age stakes. Congratulations to Jack and Christine Lynch on this performance.

The 2008 Australian Working Retriever Central Retrieving Trial Dog of the Year is:

Jack Lynch's Gr Nat RT Ch COALSGARTH TASSIE FERN (Lab B)

In 2008 “Fern” successfully defended the AWRC Retrieving Trial Dog of the Year award by accumulating  175 points, along the way collecting first place in the 2008 National Retrieving Trial Championship, and the Queensland and Tasmanian State Championships, and second place in the ACT and SA State Championships. This stellar championship performance was backed up by eight 1st places, three 2nd places and three 3rd places in All Age stakes during the 2008 trialling year. These wins also qualified Fern for her Grand Retrieving Trial Champion title. Congratulations to Jack and Christine Lynch on this performance.

  In 2007 "Fern" accumulated 174 points with third place in the National, first place in the NSW championship, second in the Queensland Championship and 5 All Age wins, 5  All Age seconds and 8 All Age thirds. Congratulations to Jack and Christine Lynch on this performance.

In 2006, "Tank" accumulated 169 points with wins in the ACT and NSW Championships, 3rd place in the SA and WA Championships, 5 All Age wins, and 10 All Age seconds. Congratulations to Bob, Pam and Tank on this performance.

In 2005, "Blackie" accumulated 171 points with wins in the ACT and NSW Championships, 2nd place in the Qld, SA and Vic Championships and 3rd place in the Tas Championship. In addition he achieved 8 All Age 1st places and 4 All Age 2nd places. Congratulations to Joe and Jane Vella.
