Australian National 16, 17 & 18 October 2009 Bombala area, NSW Hosted by Dogs ACT,
Retrieving Trial Championship
in conjunction with the Working Gundog Club Inc. (affiliated with Dogs
NSW)
The 40th Australian National
Retrieving Trial Championship will be conducted near Bibbenluke, north of
Bombala commencing on Friday 16 October and concluding Sunday 18 October. The
judges for the 40th National will be Mr Graeme Parkinson (NSW) and Mr Trevor
Stevens (Vic).
The ACT State Retrieving
Trial Championship will be held on 10 & 11 October 2009 in the same area.
The ACT State will be judged by Mr Gareth Tawton (Vic) and Mr Robert Tawton
(ACT)

on 21 September
2009.
Social
Events:
Sunday 11 October: Dinner at
Bibbenluke Hall, followed by the National Draw, $25 per person
Friday 16 October: Barbeque
at Bibbenluke Hall, $5 per person
When submitting entries, please
also indicate how many people will be attending the social events and provide payment.
Catering:
The trial will be fully
catered with breakfast (bacon & egg rolls and tea/coffee), morning tea
(cakes and tea/coffee) and lunch (selection of hot and cold food) available each
day. This will be provided on a pay-as-you-go basis. Prices will be advertised
at the trial. Profits go to supporting the trials and local community groups.

The national and ACT state
trials are being organised by a small committee of triallers from the ACT and
surrounding areas of NSW. Assistance from the trialling community across
Australia is most welcome.
In particular, the committee
invites donations to the Trophy table (see
list of trophies), and offers to steward at the trial. Anyone available and
willing to steward please contact Jason
Ferris.
