The 37th Australian National Retrieving Trial Championship was proudly sponsored by Advance with support from Winchester and Field & Game Australia.
The trial was conducted near Goomalling, approximately 1 hour east of Perth (map of the region and detailed map). Photos of the trial site are available here.

There were 39 dogs entered. They included 15 locals from WA with 24 dogs from interstate - 2 from ACT, 4 from NSW, 4 from Qld, 1 from SA, and 13 from Victoria. The field includes 31 Labradors (20 dogs, 11 bitches), 6 Golden Retrievers, 1 English Springer Spaniel and 1 Flatcoated Retriever.
The 39 dogs were handled by 31 people - 14 from WA, 1 from ACT, 3 from NSW, 4 from Qld, 1 from SA, and 8 from Victoria. 24 handlers are running a single dog, 6 are running two dogs and 1 is running three.
